The Board of the Nigeria Customs Service has approved the appointment of four Deputy Comptroller Generals, DCG’s and twelve Assistant Comptroller Generals, ACG’s.
The new appointees are, DCG Abdullahi Babani, DCG Mohammed Boyi, DCG Elton Edorhe, DCG Katherine Ekekezie.
Those that made the list on the Assistant Comptroller General (ACGs) are ACG Hamza Gumi, ACG Mohammed Abba-Kura, ACG Saidu Galadima, ACG Gimba Umar, ACG Obi Ekwealor and ACG Bede Anyanwu.
Others are ACG Mohammed Uba Garba, ACG Kayode Olusemire, ACG Lena Oyama, ACG Florence Inuk, ACG Lami Wushishi and ACG Usman Dakingari.
The Board also approved the promotion of 2,707 senior officers of which thirty five (35) deputy comptroller were promoted to the rank of full comptroller, sixty four assistant comptrollers were promoted the deputy comptroller and 118 Chief Superintendent were promoted to the next rank of Assistant comptroller.
All the promotions, according to the press release signed by the deputy national Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Customs Service DC Timi Bomodi on behalf of the Comptroller General of the Service Col. Hameed Ali (Rtd) take effect from 1st January, 2020.
